My Bio
My beginnings in the Amigurumi world began almost a year and a half ago; I lost the space I needed to scrapbook through a very complicated, and rather strange, series of events. After going through several long months of craft withdrawal, I decided it would be a good time to expand my crocheting knowledge from what little I learned in college. After figuring out abbreviations and reading patterns, my creativity flourished and within several months I was creating my own patterns! I'm hoping to continue to expand my boundaries and be able to open my own business selling these adorable little critters. Until then, I shall post pictures of my creations for all to enjoy. ^.^

Hi All!
I know it has been months since I've posted anything new or even logged on. There has been some things in my life that have made me reevaluate what I need to do, career paths that I need to look into, and how to handle my little crocheting business. Sadly I need to close my crocheting business for part of my new life plan. :( I just will not have the time, money and resources needed to continue and offer great customer service.
Will I ever reopen or take commissions again? At this moment I have no intention of reopening my store, this could change, but as of now I have no plans. As for commissions, once I get things set in motion an

Just some fun updates

Not a lot new to report for the shop, except some really cute Halloween Critters have started to pop up!!! Black and Orange Dragons, Black Cats with Witches hats, what else could appear?? I have no idea, really I don't. But if there is some cute Halloween themed critter you would like to see pop up in the store, comment here or on my FB page (http://www.facebook.com/KodasCrochetCritters) and it may just happen. ;)
Another fun update is I am in the process of getting my official logo commissioned! I'll post some updates when it's finished, but I know it is going to be super cute and awesome! I feel so official now!

After some long and thought provoking conversations with myself I have decided to switch my shop over from Artfire to Etsy. While Artfire has really great artisans and an awesome community, I am just not selling enough there to support the monthly fee. Maybe one day I'll switch back, but I doubt it.
